This season, Real Madrid C.F is back to stir up the sports game market with “Real Madrid Fantasy Manager 2012”. This year’s version improves the franchise even more, and allows fans to manage the 20th century’s best football club.

Madrid, September 19th 2011. After the enormous success that surrounded last year’s Real Madrid Fantasy Manager 11, Real Madrid C.F showcases the new version of the game for the 2011/2012 season. This year, players will enjoy an even more dynamic and user-friendly design, which allows them to play with the whole Real Madrid squad. Furthermore, they will also be able to build their own sport city, extend it, manage club finances, compete in exclusive tournaments against other players, and take home new prizes every week.

The game is available on iPhone, Android and Facebook and will be introduced on new web and mobile platforms adapted to the Chinese market to widen the user bracket.

This project falls within the Real Madrid CF New Media project, which aims to connect Real Madrid fans to the Club experience using digital platforms. “Mobile platforms and social networks have grown exponentially over the last few years and we want to adapt to these new communication channels. Real Madrid Fantasy Manager is one of the key assets of our strategy on these new media,” said Pedro Duarte, New Media Manager.

Given the success of the previous game, Real Madrid Fantasy Manager 2012 has also been developed by From The Bench, a Spanish company with vast experience in the interactive social sport game sector. “Thanks to our close connection with Real Madrid and to feedback from the fans, this year we’ve built in a host of novelties that will add to the experience of managing Real Madrid,” commented José David Poveda, CEO at From The Bench.
