Twain Harte, CA – September 26, 2012 – Reverb Publishing has announced that it has brought on Brian Harvey, former Sr. Partnerships Manager at OnLive, to join their ranks as Director of Strategic Partnerships. Harvey brings 15 years of experience in the games industry and a varied background in the technology and gaming field to Reverb.
Harvey is a respected veteran of the video gaming industry, working as a Sr. Developer Account Manager at NVIDIA for 10 years before moving into a marketing position at Akamai Technologies and, most recently, as the Senior Partnerships Manager for OnLive, a role that included acquiring content for the service, negotiating contracts with developers and publishers alike, and serving as an Executive Producer for AAA SKUs. Harvey’s new role at Reverb will incorporate building partnerships with companies to align with Reverb’s growing catalog of games, as well as acting as Executive Producer on key titles.
“After seeing what Reverb was capable of in the digital games space, I was very excited to join the team in their publishing division,” said Harvey. “Reverb’s publishing model is all about innovation, going against the grain of publishing standards, and giving independent developers their chance to shine in a crowded games space, and I’m glad to be a part of it.”
“Brian is an experienced industry vet with an impressive background, great relationships throughout various segments of the business, and an excellent sense of leadership,” said Katie Morgan, executive vice president of Reverb Publishing. “We can’t wait to see what ideas he can bring to the Reverb Publishing table.”
Reverb Publishing’s growing roster of titles includes the massively successful Dungeon Defenders, the recently released Jeremy McGrath’s Offroad and JAM Live Music Arcade, the upcoming Ravaged, Sanctum 2, Edge of Space, Primal Carnage, Black Knight Sword and much more.
