Rovio jumps into spring with Angry Birds Seasons update

March 5th, 2012 – Espoo, Finland – Just in time for spring, Rovio Entertainment will release a “Cherry Blossom” update for Angry Birds Seasons this week. The new update features 15 beautiful new levels, two bonus levels, and a new cherry blossom theme set in the shadow of Mt. Fuji. The update will be available for iOS, Android, Symbian, and Chrome.

After going through a full year of seasons, featuring the usual suspects such as Halloween, Easter, and Christmas, Rovio is mixing it up to keep things interesting. This newest episode, Cherry Blossom, focuses on the Japanese tradition of celebrating spring with a picnic with family and friends under the flowering cherry blossom trees.
