Save Your World from Robit Destruction in Robotanika, Out Now on iPad

Colombo, LK - December 20, 2012 - Independent video game developer Dawn Patrol Games is proud to announce the launch of its debut title, Robotanika for iPad . Built using the industry-leading Unreal Engine, the sci-fi themed shooter game is relentlessly challenging.

A visually striking experience starring a unique lineup of alien aggressors, Robotanika both demands and rewards skillful play. Inspired by the challenge and intensity of classic arcade action, this game is a fast-paced, two-handed, turret shooter that will take more than an itchy trigger finger and a tactical mind to survive.

"As Dawn Patrol's first game, we knew we wanted Robotanika not to look or play like anything else on iPad, but at the same time feel immediately familiar.” said Prithvi Virasinghe, CEO and founder of Dawn Patrol Games. “Don’t be fooled though, you could die in under 3 seconds. This game will beat you.”

Ravaging robots have returned once again to pillage the planet, leaving the player all that stands between their species' survival and extinction. The action starts hard and doesn’t let up, so precision timing, accuracy and the mastery of five powerful offensive and defensive abilities will be needed in order to survive all 100 punishing waves. Users must choose their weapons, take their stand and prepare to send those pesky robots back to the recycling bin once and for all.

The Robotanika App is available for $2.99 from the App Store on iPad [ link ].
