"After eight years, it was time to update even the most favorite, tried-and-true aspects of Shot Online, and that included a full modernization of the user interface," said Hubert Yee, Head of Marketing at GamesCampus. "Players will be amazed when they see how much has changed while still retaining the most important information at their fingertips!"

Shot Online will soon look like a brand new game – without having to re-learn how to play.  The new UI tracks stats including Holes-In-One, Albatross, Eagles, Chip-Ins, accuracy, longest drive, and more.  As players achieve titles through playing a variety of courses and holes, their portraits will change to reflect their veteran status.  Choose the avatar that represents you best!

Course selection has also been streamlined considerably, with making or finding a room to play with friends much easier.  Up for a surprise?  Choose one of the “random” course selections to be placed on any Easy, Normal, or Hard course – or go for the ultimate lottery and choose the Total Random option for a chance to play ANY current Shot Online course.  Options for each room or course have also been overhauled.  Choosing a scoring system or whether to allow mulligans has been made quick and simple.

Chat functions have also seen a thorough redecorating.  Now players can choose a font size, window size, adjust the window size and transparency, as well as improved copy and paste functions.  Players can quickly scroll through the various chat options including public chat, private conversations, guild, students and more using alt and the left/right arrow keys.

All this and plenty more is coming to Shot Online next week; players are already discussing these exciting upcoming changes on both the Shot Online Facebook community at and on Twitter @ShotOnline, where you can quickly join in the conversation!
