Munich, Germany, February 22, 2012. Closed beta testing of Skylancer – Battle for Horizon has been completed. ProSiebenSat.1 Games is now starting the open beta phase of the free-to-play strategy online game. From now on, all players get to explore the fascinating world of the browser MMOG at www.skylancer.com.
The developer Chimera Entertainment has added new features to Skylancer – Battle for Horizon for the open beta start: free player-versus-player fights (PvP), three more unit types, global rankings and an additional campaign enrich the online game. Moreover, the new combat preview provides detailed information about the enemy before every battle. Following an in-depth tutorial, players experience an exciting story that reveals more about their chosen faction and the history of Horizon.

Once the open beta phase is complete, Skylancer – Battle for Horizon will officially launch in spring 2012.
