FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
BOSTON, MA. -- April 28, 2011 -- Owlchemy Labs announced today that Smuggle Truck is available now on Mac and PC, with Snuggle Truck (note the 'n' in Snuggle) available on Apple's App Store for iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch. Both titles feature over-the-top physics-based driving where players must save a group of passengers by tilting the truck, catching newborn babies and rocketing across hills, caverns, deserts and forests.
Smuggle Truck was denied for distribution on Apple's App Store platform, but Snuggle Truck features all the gameplay of the original game. Snuggle Truck simply replaces the multicultural band of immigrants with cuddly creatures.
"Contractually we can't discuss the reasons for the App Store denial, but we look forward to working with Apple again on our next game," said Owlchemy Labs Chief Scientist Alex Schwartz. " Snuggle Truck still contains every bit of gameplay found in Smuggle Truck. The only difference in Snuggle Truck is you're bringing animals from the wilderness to the comfort of a zoo, where they'll be provided plenty of food, water and free state-of-the-art health care."
As a bonus, every copy of Smuggle Truck on Mac/PC will include Snuggle Truck at no extra charge. Players can switch between the two games with a simple press of a button.
