LOS ANGELES - Oct. 10, 2012 - Founder and Chairman of Snail Games, the first 3D online game development company in China, Shi Hai spoke at GDC Online today on "Breaking the Rules: Reinventing the MMORPG," where he released an all-new gameplay trailer for Age of Wushu.
Snail Games, a leader in China's emerging gaming industry, creates and develops MMOs and interactive online games worldwide and is one of the largest providers and exporters of 3D digital entertainment. The company boasts an extensive portfolio and plans to debut one of their top games in China, Age of Wushu, in North America next year.
Age of Wushu is currently the #1 game in China and has more than 10 million registered players worldwide. The game features realistic combat, replicating the fighting styles made popular by blockbuster Chinese martial arts films.
Snail Games also released a new trailer today for Black Gold , a 3-D fantasy-based MMORPG with steampunk theme, which is being co-developed by Snail Games and Mental Games. The title is set to launch in the summer of 2013.
