The Kickstarter campaign for Spud's Quest- a ten years in the making adventure game that pays tribute to classics like the Dizzy series- has reached it's final days.
Preceding the recent 'Dizzy Returns' Kickstarter by over three weeks, Spud's Quest has picked up a lot of momentum on the backend of the Oliver Twins project, and looks set to hit it's funding target. Despite both projects support for each other, some openly disgruntled fans of the Twins £350,000 asking price have seen Spud's Quest's £5,000 target as a more appealing alternate option.
The game has been a labour of love project spanning ten years by independent developer Chris Davis, who aspired to create a game to re-ignite the dormant adventure puzzle genre.
With funding successful, the game is estimated to be released Spring 2013 on Windows and various mobile platforms.
