Start of Electronic Sports League in Down Under a big success

Cologne, September 13 th, 2012 – After Europe, America and Asia, the most important league of gaming Electronic Sports League (ESL) has now settled within Oceania. The launch of ESL Australia was a great success: More than 24 teams compete in the very first Go4LOL-Cupseries and hundreds of gaming-fans watched the matches during the eight hour stream on ESL TV. The new gaming community in Australia and New Zealand is set to unite all eSports athletes in a huge gaming community at www.nationalesl.com/au. Thousands of active players, exciting matches and intensive community work will raise electronic sports in Down Under into the next level. ESL Australia is a cooperation between the ESL organizer Turtle Entertainment from Germany and the Australian company Violent Hour Entertainment.

Both managing directors of the cooperating partners, Reagan Koryozo and Matt O’Brien are two of the most important personalities of the Australian gaming market: Reagon Koryozo was a top-of-the-class Call of Duty player and founder as well as the main person behind Australia’s leading eSports clan Mindfreak eSports. His Partner Matt O'Brien is the ex-Operations Manager for the eSports and Gaming Network. One of Australia's leading competitive gaming organizations.
