Suddenly Social launches Connected Gaming Solution

SANTA CLARA, CA – February 16, 2012. -- Suddenly Social, the World's only dedicated cloud application platform for connected games, has officially launched and is open for business.

Ex-LucasArts and Habitat Virtual World veterans announce the Suddenly Social application platform.

Formed by LucasArts veterans Randy Farmer, Chip Morningstar, Noah Falstein and Gary Winnick in 2011, Suddenly Social has built technology that will enable innovative, cost-effective and reliable connected games usable on a massive scale. The platform has been deployed with success in several projects including a major Facebook social game with over 1 million Daily Active Users (DAU).

The platform handles server management, deployment, operations, and scaling enabling developers to focus 100% of their time and talent on game play. The Suddenly Social platform’s unique features such as cross-game, cross-device and geolocation-based messaging services allow game developers and publishers to build social connectivity across their portfolio.

Suddenly Social's CEO Randy Farmer commented "Developers are looking for ways to innovate while keeping development costs to a minimum. Chip and I have been working on this problem for the last 30 years and now we have a platform that is in the sweet spot for social/mobile game developers as well as the emerging mobile gambling market. I continue to be impressed at the new and exciting ways developers want to use our platform, and we look forward to building long term mutually profitable relationships."

Suddenly Social has developed two demonstration games – Bad Pets, an eight (8) player real-time rock/paper/scissors game, and Dice Club, a real-time social Liar's Dice game including betting with virtual currency. Suddenly Social solves all of the major problems of deploying massive scale gambling applications across the Internet. As further proof, Suddenly Social will be rolling out a suite of gambling games including Poker, Craps and Slots for licensing or self-publishing.

Suddenly Social is interested in meeting with partners who want to incorporate the Suddenly Social platform into their current games and games in development. We are available for phone conference or in-person meetings and we will be taking meetings at GDC. Please connect with us at partners@suddenlysocial.net or +1 818 292 3294 for more details.
