"SURGICAL PRECISION" BUILT INTO THE NEW THRUSTMASTER XBOX 360® GAMEPADS to dominate professional gaming

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

RENNES, France - October 12, 2012 - Thrustmaster, a world leader in interactive entertainment hardware and accessories, will be releasing its newest official Xbox 360® licensed controllers, offering unrivalled innovation and ultimate precision, to meet the requirements of the most demanding gamers.

GPX LightBack - Phenomenal technology offering exceptional performance:

The GPX LightBack feature has been designed by Thrustmaster's R&D teams to provide users with extensive real-time visual information, and features two essential innovations: ministicks enhanced with precision gauges and a Light Feedback feature. The 2 precision gauges feature 8 built-in LEDs that provide the player with real-time information while the Light Feedback feature enhances the ministicks with interactive backlighting that illuminates with in-game events (e.g. firing rate, impacts sustained, etc.). For enhanced gameplay, the GPX LightBack offers a Vibration Feedback feature controlled by 2 high-frequency vibration motors built into the device's grips. Furthermore (and this is the hallmark of Thrustmaster's official Xbox 360® licensed controllers), the ministicks offer precision levels that are twice that of most currently available controllers, thanks to new optimized firmware. The ministicks feature a genuine rubber textured non-slip surface, offering excellent comfort. This high-end equipment is rounded off by 2 long, curved progressive triggers, offering perfect control over every action; these offer progressive and natural resistance levels, ensuring high-performance gameplay. The cross-shaped D-Pad also offers extreme precision in all 8 directions. The GPX LightBack also features an Xbox Guide/Windows Live button with 4 LEDs and a built-in connector for a headset with microphone.

GPX for unrivalled efficiency:

The GPX LightBack's junior sibling, the GPX, features an ergonomic design honed for optimum comfort and grip, with a non-slip grip extending over the controller's lower surface. It also features 2 vibration motors running on different frequencies: a low-frequency vibration motor/buzzer on the left and a high-frequency vibration motor on the right, allowing players to receive separate information signals from games, which offers precious real-time in-game assistance. The ministicks offer the same quality and precision as the GPX LightBack's. The GPX's other specifications, such as the Xbox Guide button, the cross-shaped D-Pad and the long-stroke, progressive dual triggers complete this versatile, high-performance controller's features.

The GPX LightBack and GPX controllers will offer Xbox 360®owners and Windows® (Vista, 7 and 8) PC users a fully immersive experience with their favorite games. The controllers will be available in October, at a suggested retail price of $29.99 for the GPX and $39.99 for the GPX LightBack.  For more information on this product, or any other made by Thrustmaster, please see our website at www.thrustmaster.com.
