The Blurb Replaces GameFace on Challenge

The Blurb is Ginx TV’s freshest newcomer to the channel and grabs an up-to-the-minute, weekly look at the global videogame scene. With celebrity interviews, events, and the biggest new releases, The Blurb is an energetic, eclectic and entertaining ride through the latest and greatest in videogame culture.

The Blurb is presented by original GameFace host, Julia Hardy, with a more humorous, revealing and interview led style than its predecessor, and is now shown on Challenge in the UK (channels; Sky 125, BT Vision 46, Freeview 46, Virgin 139) every Saturday at midnight.

This Saturday’s episode of The Blurb will feature the biggest gaming event of the year, E3, including interviews with Cliff Bleszinski, Design Director for Gears of War and Sir Ian Livingstone, the man behind 'Tomb Raider' and 'Hitman'. The Blurb also gets to chat with the creators of Bioshock Infinite and unveils Nintendo’s up and coming console, the Wii U. To get an exclusive preview of The Blurb: E3 Special, Part 1, click here.

The Blurb aims to appeal to both‘core’ and‘casual’ gamers, as well as having an inclusive attitude that invites the broader TV viewer to jump on board. It places global videogame culture at the centre of the wider popular culture and is therefore a great opportunity for guests who are not directly from the world of videogames to intersect and engage with this ever-expanding audience.
