GLPEAS Press Release
12th April, 2010
GLPeas’ new adventure/strategy/puzzler for Xbox Indie Games, BlindGiRl, has been receiving excellent reviews from all areas of the press, following its release at the end of March.
Eurogamer called it“…another sterling example of why the Indie Channel is proving to be a fertile arena for artistic expression”, and The Guardian went further, pronouncing it“a must-buy for any Xbox 360 owner who’s interested in seeing what a talented developer can do with limited resources and some brilliant, unconventional ideas about gameplay“
An intriguing mix of puzzle solving, adventuring, and strategy, BlindGiRl puts the player in the shoes of a girl lost in a world of darkness, where the unknown lurks around every corner. Whilst reviewers and gamers agree that they all love the game, they are divided on one issue– what exactly is the game about?
To that end, GLPeas are asking players to visit the game’s website at www.blindgirl.co.uk , and offer their suggestions as to exactly who BlindGiRl is, and why she’s trapped in a world of fear and confusion.
Add your suggestions by going to www.blindgirl.co.uk and clicking‘Tell us what the game is about’.
BlindGiRl is available now via the Xbox Live Indie Games marketplace, for the price of 80 Microsoft Points.
GLPeas are a independent game developer based in Derby, England. They carefully craft unique, non-violent games with an emphasis on quality gameplay over graphics. Their previous title, Carcophony, intrigued players with an innovative mix of puzzling and strategy wrapped around simple, accessible gameplay.
