THE WALKING DEAD: ASSAULT SHUFFLES ONTO SAMSUNG APPS

Skybound  has today released THE WALKING DEAD: ASSAULT on Samsung Apps, available for $2.99.

Based on Robert Kirkman's Eisner award-winning comic book series, THE WALKING DEAD: ASSAULT is brought to Samsung Apps by Kirkman's own Skybound label in collaboration with UK-based games developer, Gamagio.

Gather your wits, supplies and team as you fight the zombie onslaught in this highly acclaimed game, which won number one strategy game and a place in the top five paid apps across the globe in 2012. The action picks up at the very beginning of the record-breaking comic book series' epic, flesh-hungry story; packed with beloved characters, zombie hordes, 3D-rendered locations from the comic, and a host of unlockable extras.

Skybound  and Gamagio worked with 100% Indie to publish the game via Samsung Apps. The initiative is helping indie developers all over the world gain the strongest possible revenue share* plus marketing support when bringing Android games to the market with Samsung.

Shawn Kirkham, Director of Business Development for Skybound says: “Working with 100% Indie has been very smooth ride for us. With 100% Indie as a partner, we were able to understand how to navigate the platform and get our game published in a shorter time than without them.”

Joe Wee of 100% Indie adds: “This franchise is well respected and already has a huge fan-base through gamers and comic book readers around the world. The Android version of the game packs in fun, intuitive gameplay with intense moments- all signs of a good game!”
