TIKGAMES NEEDS AMPHIBIAN-LOVERS TO SAVE THE ‘FLEXY FROGS’

San Mateo, California – January 27, 2012 – They’re adorable, they’re stretchy, they’re Flexy Frogs! Fling ‘em! Flexy Frogs is a new game from TikGames in which players must save cute, green, frog-like animals by grouping them back together. The game is played using a simple mechanic in which a player uses one finger to pull back on a Flexy Frog, aims, and then releases to fling it. The game will be coming soon to the App Store SM for iPad®, iPhone®, and iPod touch®.

“This game is the thinking frog’s game,“ said Howard Lehr, Director of Game Design for TikGames. “The player must plan moves carefully since there are a limited number per level. It’s fun to just bounce Flexies around, but it’s probably safer for them if players don’t cause them to catch on fire or get eaten.”

Flexy Frogs is a casual physics puzzle game in which players must group individual Flexy Frogs together. To do so, players must fling them around each level using a motion like pulling back on a rubber band with one finger, then letting go. When one Flexy touches another, they merge to form a larger Flexy. Moves must be planned carefully, as Flexies can only be flung a certain number of times per level. In each level, players must use objects like switches or teleporters and avoid traps like fire or splitters that break larger Flexies into smaller ones. Players must also be sure to prevent the Flexy Frogs’ natural enemies, Grugs, from eating them.
