Kirkland, WA, August 15th, 2012 - Uber Entertainment today announced Planetary Annihilation, their forthcoming next generation real-time strategy game. Planetary Annihilation, a Kickstarter funded project, promises Total Annihilation style gameplay on a planetary scale. This is RTS redefined for a new generation of players.
“It’s very exciting to put Planetary Annihilation in front of RTS gamers everywhere at such an early stage, ” said Jonathan Mavor, CTO of Uber Entertainment. “We are burning with a passion to continue making these kinds of games and we can’t wait to see Planetary Annihilation reach its funding goal so we can bring it to life.”
Planetary Annihilation will be distributed and hosted on the UberNet digital publishing platform, developed by Uber. “UberNet enables Planetary Annihilation to host games of the most epic proportions. Our server technology makes it possible to have dozens of players with thousands of units in a single game,” says Uber’s CEO, Bob Berry.
