During the past week's "Pay What You Want" deal for the Divinity series on GOG.com, the GOG community bought so many copies of Larian Studios' classic RPG series that they unlocked this extensive making-of video about Divinity II.
How often do you really get to point your readers/viewers to an 18-minute documentary about the making of games (and you don't even have to pay for it)?
Coincidentally, if you need some more fodder for a news post, today also marks the launch of the limited-to-25k-copies Divinity Anthology Collector's Edition at select retailers and directly from Larian through http://larianvault.com for €29.95. If you buy the physical version directly from Larian (they will ship worldwide) you'll even get a copy signed by the dev team. You can also purchase Divinity Anthology digitally through Larian's site.
Please do let people know that Divinity Anthology -- comprised of Divine Divinity, Beyond Divinity and the brand-new Divinity II: Developer's Cut, has launched at http://divinityanthology.com , and point them to that making-of video. Larian is a studio that's been doing its thing independently for more than a decade, and in today's business landscape, that's pretty damn noteworthy!
You can also get Divinity II: Developer's Cut at GOG.com now .
