Munich, Germany – 23th February 2012 – Today, GamesInFlames announces “Word Wonders: The Tower of Babel”, the new adventurous word swapping game for PC and mobile. The PC retail version will be released on 20.03.2012, the digital version (North America only) will be released on 06.03.2012, both published by THQ’s Valusoft division. The mobile version will be published by dreamfab in 2 nd quarter 2012 for mobile devices, iOS and Android.
“Word Wonder: The Tower of Babel“ is an exciting mixture of word puzzle gaming and ancient adventures! The player sets out on a quest to conquer the Tower of Babel with his word skills only! In thrilling word duels he encounters enemies out of 1001 nights and defeats them by laying the right words on a game board. The player will continuously learn magic words and receipts to unleash powerful spells and potions onto the enemy, as he advances to the top of the tower of Babel.

To “max out” the hero and unlock all of the alchemy formulas, the player has to collect all of the game’s stars – and therefore has to complete all of the 150 stages of intense word puzzles!
The story about the Tower of Babel goes way back to ancient ages: Once upon a time all of humanity was united in tolerance and peace. Mankind spoke one common tongue. Together, there was nothing that humans could not achieve. But as mankind's power grew, so did their arrogance. At the height of their power they wanted to challenge even the gods and so they started to build the famous Tower of Babel. The tower grew and grew until it reached up into the high heavens.
To punish humanity for their arrogance a terrible curse was cast upon mankind: Their common tongue was sealed away in the Tower of Babel! The humans broke apart into hundreds of small groups, each speaking their own language and fighting each other. Their once great civilization fell into ruins and the Tower of Babel was forgotten, hundreds of years have passed. Are the ancient language and the Tower of Babel only a myth? Is the fabled language still sealed away, inside the tower? What would happen, if mankind's common language could be recovered?
A young hero sets out on an adventure to find out the truth...
