Norwalk, Connecticut, October 3, 2012 - Fellow Americans, prepare to defend the U.S. Presidential candidate of your choice like never before, right as the candidates are preparing for the first 2012 Presidential debate.
Worldwide Soapbox, independent producer and publisher of mobile video games and apps, today announced the launch and immediate availability of arcade-style shooter “Operation: White House 2012,” and in a mobile gaming app first, gives players the ability to “vote twice” in the 2012 U.S. Presidential election. First, by letting them donate a percentage of the purchase price to the party of their choice the first time they launch the app, and then in a voting booth in November.
“We really wanted to figure out a way to go beyond creating an addictive and fun mobile game by connecting it with the real world in a way that hadn’t been done before.” said Robert Lasky, Co-Founder of Worldwide Soapbox. “Allowing customers to donate part of the profit adds timely social value by letting Americans help ‘crowd-fund’ their candidate of choice.”

“Once we nailed the gaming experience, we wanted to get our customers more engaged.” Said Steven Cross, Co-Founder of Worldwide Soapbox. “Operation: White House 2012 allows players to stay engaged in the 2012 Presidential election earlier in the campaign process, something that’s needed in today’s political landscape.”
