Zimmdot, LLC leads Teotl Studios’“The Ball” Into The Cloud

ATLANTA, GEORGIA DECEMBER 13, 2010 - Zimmdot, LLC is pleased to announce that“The Ball,” developed by Teotl Studios and published by Tripwire Interactive, is now available for purchase on the OnLive gaming-on-demand platform.

Playing The Ball, you will be transported into a cavern on the side of an inactive volcano in Mexico.  It is here that you, an archaeologist, unveil ancient ruins, discover a mysterious artifact --The Ball-- and uncover some of humanity’s greatest secrets.

The Ball was not available“at the touch of a button” until Zimmdot, LLC ported The Ball into The OnLive Cloud.  And now, The Ball is available for a $19.99 PlayPass from OnLive.

OnLive, founded by Apple alum Steve Perlman, allows players to access games without downloads, patches or disks as the games and player’s info resides‘in the OnLive cloud.’  According to CEO Perlman, the launch of OnLive marks "the first step toward a future where video game content is increasingly free from the restrictions of device and location, while showcasing the ability to instantly play the latest, most advanced games at the touch of a button."

In other words, The Cloud allows you to finagle your way out of The Ball’s Mexican cavern: anytime, anywhere.  "It was a blast working with the developers at Teotl Studios and Tripwire Interactive," says Zimmdot Chief Technical Officer, Patrick Childers. "Working together allowed us to cover more ground: while they focused on this unique and innovative game, we focused on the OnLive technology, which is quite impressive in itself.”

Zimmdot can handle any application on any platform.  Zimmdot’s up for it; are you?  For all your gaming needs, Zimmdot is your solution, better yet, your portal to the next level, which in this case, was The Cloud.
