Persona 4 ARENA takes characters from the cult Shin Megami Tensai: Persona RPG series and puts them into a 2D fighter from BlazBlue and Guilty Gear developer, Arc System Works.
The game takes place two months after the PS2 RPG Shin Megami Tensai: Persona 4 and follows the fighting tournament in the TV world dimension called the P-1 Grand Prix. Players can choose characters from the series and use their Persona – summoned alter egos – to battle one another.
Keeping pace with more modern fighters offering fast, combo-centric combat with plenty of movement options. There’s a simplistic control option too, for those who need the extra help. The online servers for multiplayer also allow players to battle against users from all over the world.
It’s certainly a title created for fans of the Shin Megami Sensai: Persona series but the exciting combat and quirky story add something special amongst a sea of 3D fighters.
