Archaeologist and puzzle solver Professor Layton stars in an all-new adventure that takes players deeper into the scolar’s past. The fifth entry into the series sees Layton, Luke and Emmy return to stop the mysterious Masked Gentleman from terrorising the city of Monte d’Or where citizens have been turning to stone.
A twist in the story sees Professor Layton reveal a dark past which could hold the solution as the mystery that unfolds.
Professor Layton and the Miracle Mask features over 150 new puzzles for eager fans to sink their teeth into. There are also new sets of mini-games courtesy of the Professor’s trunk. If 150 puzzles isn’t enough for the more die-hard Layton fanatics, players can download an extra puzzle everyday for free for a year via Nintendo’s online network. That’s 365 extra puzzles.
Continuing its hand-drawn visual style, Professor Layton and the Miracle Mask also uses 3D animations and character models to bring a whole new depth to the visuals.
