There’s a huge variety of simulation titles on the market at the moment.
From Farming Simulator 2011 to London Underground Simulator and even Street Cleaning Simulator, there’s something for everyone. And they’re proving popular on the Chart-Track PC?budget charts, too.
Introducing the next simulation game from specialist PC?publisher Excalibur – Ski Region Simulator. This tasks players with building their own resort to become a snow mountain mogul.
The release is timely, too, with its snow-based simulation gameplay perfect for the winter sales period.
“Ski Region has been developed by Giants, the team behind the highly successful Farming Simulator series,” Excalibur’s MD Robert Stallibrass tells MCV.
“So you can be sure this is a strong title with great sales potential too.”
Players have access to a ton of equipment to help them run their ski resort, including snowcats and snow cannons. They can even walk around their four square kilometres of land on foot or vehicle to decide where best to build ski-lifts and visitor facilities like restaurants.
Ski Region Simulator claims to have a realistic in-game night and day cycle, with dynamic events and disasters that can threaten the resort’s success. It features multiplayer and single-player modes and a plough-full of downloadable content for gamers to access.
The release, priced at £24.99, is ideal for business-minded sim players and fans of titles such as the Rollercoaster Tycoon series.
