From the upbeat sing-a-long ‘I Gotta Feeling’ to the deeper dance tune ‘The Time (Dirty Bit)’, the group has a versatile range of hits to satisfy pop fans, Radio 1 listeners and youngsters the world over.
The Black Eyed Peas Experience is the latest licensed dancing game from Ubisoft following last year’s Michael Jackson: The Experience, which has sold well over 3m units to date. And its Just Dance series has reached over 30m users since 2009.
“This the ultimate dance game for fans of The Black Eyed Peas’ music,” Ubisoft’s brand manager Rachael Grant tells MCV. “We expect this to be popular with Black Eyed Peas fans and music fans alike, as their music is very current and a big favourite with kids and young adults. The game features great hits that people love to dance to.”
There are 25 tracks in the Wii game and 30 in the Kinect version, with more available to download. Dance moves have been created with The Black Eyed Peas’ own choreographer Fatima Robinson and users can even devise their own moves. Up to four users can play.
A TV campaign will target boys and girls aged between 12 and 25 years old and there will be video-on-demand ads.
