The Sims 3: Town Life Stuff Pack

The Sims has become much more than just your standard video game with a beginning and an end.

To many, the life simulation series is a living world continually populated with new unique sims and their accompanying friends, families, jobs and homes. And for those players, EA’s Stuff content packs provide a host of new goodies to play around with – from cars to guitars and hot tubs to holidays.

The Sims 3 Town Life Stuff Pack is the latest edition of said releases. It features new in-game libraries, gyms, playgrounds, schools and cafés as well as a stack of additional outfits and hairstyles to fulfil the most dedicated players’ needs. And with a bargain RRP of £9.99, it presents fans of The Sims with a strong incentive to buy.

“Town Life Stuff is unique because it offers exciting content that’s never been seen before in a Stuff Pack,” says EA’s product manager for The Sims Bolu Akindoyin.

“Life is even more fun to play with thanks to venues that give your town a whole new look. From the Scrumptious Nibbles Café venue to fun new playgrounds, there’s plenty to entertain sims with.”

Making gamers content

Each new building in The Sims 3 Town Life Stuff Pack features its own benefits and items to interact with. For example, gyms are filled with treadmills, weight machines and more, while playgrounds include sandboxes, slides and tree houses.

And if a player doesn’t want to visit the local gym or library, they can always purchase the new objects for use in their sims’ own home – whether it’s a library and study area or a tree house for the garden.

Extra items for the home also include washers and dryers, while other new town buildings range from the Fresh and Frozen Express Grocer to the Par Excellence Preparatory School and Scrumptious Nibbles Café.

With its budget price tag and host of new in-game content, The Sims 3 Life Stuff Pack is sure to satisfy fans of The Sims 3 throughout the summer months.

Sims success

Since the release of The Sims on PC in 2000, more than 140m units in the series have been sold worldwide. The Sims 3 is the latest full PC game which hit shelves in 2009 and landed on consoles last year. It has received four full expansions and four Stuff Pack releases to date.

People power

EA is supporting the release of the latest Stuff pack with a direct-to-consumer social media campaign to ensure the community is well aware of the new content.
