MCV looks at Zoo Tycoon's console debut.
Zoo Tycoon comes out on November 22nd.
This latest Zoo Tycoon game is the first entry in the series to appear on consoles. Players aim to create the world’s best zoo – defining the layout and choosing which animals to have, and even caring for the creatures themselves.
The Xbox One version has a 15-hour campaign mode, as well as afreeform mode where players haveinfinite money. In addition to these are short 15-minute challenges. l Players can share their zooswith other wannabe tycoons fromaround the world over Xbox Live. The title also includes the ability to free-roam the zoo, and gamers can feed and bathe their animals in a manner similar to Kinectimals.
Animals can be checked on by pressing X, which will reveal if they are happy, healthy, how much food and water they have, as well as how bored they are.
The next-gen version of the title also has Kinect minigames, as well as the ability to share pictures you take in the game.
The 360 SKU lacks the Kinect minigames, Xbox Live functionality, but does feature 65 animals.
Microsoft will donate to animal charities after players complete in- game challenge events.
