OPM are proud to be working with this AAA games developer & publisher who is experiencing a period of development and growth, exciting things are happening in this company right now! They are looking for a Senior International Sports Brand Manager to join their team in the South East.
Reporting to the Head of International Brand, this role is an integral part of the International Brand Team. Acting as the key advocate and brand marketing contact for territory offices throughout Europe and Australia for allocated titles. This role is working on sports games titles and sits alongside a team dedicated to the core games portfolio. This role is also directly responsible for two reports, forming a small but agile team, in conjunction with the Head of International Brand.
Partner with and influence Global Brand Team from project kick-off date through to the end of the product lifecycle to ensure that product naming, positioning, strategy, creative theme, roadmap and execution are optimised for international territories.
Understand and help augment the Brand Director’s vision of your brand in the short, mid and long term. Offer international insights and ideas that will improve the perception, grow the audience and ultimately increase the commercial viability of your brand.
Work closely with the Head of International Brand to ensure that territory plans are received, summarised for and approved by Executive Team well before launch.
Manage individuals or smalls teams of Jr Brand Managers and Brand Managers, guide the groups thinking and support team growth and learning.
Manage international budget to deliver both territory creative requirements and international level activations in conjunction with the International Comms Team, whilst ensuring all relevant approvals are obtained.
Take responsibility for the lifecycle of any given brand. Identify and highlight market opportunities and provide relevant reports, explore options for research and analysis (audience segmentation, competitor analyses, risk analyses etc.).
Management of internal and external creative resources to develop high quality, impactful asset toolkits with the specific requirements of the international territories considered.
Ensure all activity or creative execution receives the required legal review and sign off
Where relevant take ownership of international level media spends covering key markets and channels.
Work closely with the International Comms Team to maximise community engagement via 2K digital channels such as web, YouTube, Facebook etc.
Work closely with sales and business analysis teams. Conduct regular pre-order / post launch sales reviews and suggest ideas for promotions, DLC cross purchase and offer thoughts on how to drive recurrent consumer spending to ensure products reach or exceed targets.
Keep informed of market trends, products, promotional avenues and opportunities. Sharing relevant information with the wider team.
Maximise brand exposure and opportunities afforded by relevant First Party platform holders and lincensors.
Be key point of contact and maintain an overview on localisation of assets.
