OPMs Client, Ireland’s largest F2P and strategy MMO game developer, is currently looking for a Senior Game Designer to join their growing team. You’ll be working on a free to play MMO mobile game with huge numbers of users in open worlds. Designing these worlds from the ground up to create engaging and powerful experiences for all player types.

They’re looking for a Senior Game Designer with a passion for free to play system design, to play a critical design role on their upcoming title. With a mix of hands on design and creative vision – you will love the process of bringing ideas to life and watching them grow.


Design and prototype new, innovative and emotional gameplay to achieve industry-leading KPIs
Communicate game vision and design approaches to key stakeholders (Internal and External) through presentations and documentation
Be involved in pre-production, contributing ideas and feedback at the various design stages for all features
Work with a dedicated team of engineers (and various other disciplines) through the scrum process to deliver projects and bring your gameplay designs to life
Be responsible for feature quality in agile/prototype heavy development process, taking responsibility for a feature from design through to live implementation
Constantly drive product improvement through data analysis, game play balancing and tuning
Undertake competitor analysis, game breakdowns and ensure the studio is always learning and improving their ability to create games


Experience designing mobile games for the core audiences (empire builders and ideally the strategy and rpg genres)
Expertise in F2P system design, including monetization, retention and engagement
Extremely strong grasp of massive multi-player games
Deep understanding of game economics
Experienced in agile / scrum methodology

Beneficial Requirements:

Experience in popular Asian based game system design including mechanics, fusion systems and chance based crafting/loot systems
Experience working with multiple stakeholders, including publishers
Experience working with a license holder/IP
Technical or programming background
