 OPM client is currently looking for a skilled and experienced VFX Artist of any level from a junior with minimal experience to someone more senior with several years’ experience creating AAA Games.

As the VFX Artist for the team you will need to be self-driven, able to create high quality, visually stunning real time special FX. You will be joining their new team working on a new AAA title in Unreal 4.  There is only one position for an FX artist on the project so you will develop and be responsible for all visual FX across the game.

The role will be demanding requiring you to take an active role in the creation process ensuring you produce high quality effects content with the flexibility to adapt to various art styles and tools as required utilising your eye for timing.  You must be comfortable working with other disciplines and offering opinion on all artistic aspects of the game.

Games industry experience (or equivalent demonstrable skill set) with excellent/strong technical ability in:

Modelling and texture skills
Fluid dynamics flipbooks
Rigid body destruction
2d flow maps
3d vector fields
UE4 Blueprints
GPU particle use
UE4 Shader-graph networks
UE4 Cascade
Combat and environmental FX
Strong problem solving skills
