OPM have now partnered with this fantastic F2P Games Development Studio based in Central London to help them expand as they take on more exciting project.
They are a collective of passionate designers, engineers and artists who all share the same obsession: making action-packed, visually stunning games that can be played and enjoyed by everyone. They develop these games from instinctive, aspirational ideas and themes.
They are looking for an Experienced Gameplay Programmer to join the team as they continue to make great games!
The successful candidate will be working on gameplay across multiple platforms (iOS, Android, Windows Phone, tvOS, Amazon) using the Unity engine. Working very closely with designers, artists, other programmers and the technical director to solve the many challenges involved in creating a high quality user experience, in the most efficient manner possible, to release in the desired time frame.
You will be implementing all areas of the game application, including (but not exclusively) gameplay, player controls, game simulation behaviours, AI, meta-game behaviour, user interface, visual effects, audio effects, analytics hooks, social hooks and in-game purchasing.
You will be actively involved in design discussions and prototyping, responsible for the performance of the game, both frame-rate and memory usage. In addition to designing and writing code, ready for post-launch updates in response to customer feedback.
In return you will be rewarded with competitive salary, great company benefits and an excellent working environment.
Strong technical design and code skills, preferably in C# and Unity, though strong C++ experience is fine.
Proven professional console, PC or mobile development experience in a games studio.
At least 1 title developed from start to release, having gone through full QA cycle, and preferably beyond to post-release support developing updates or DLC.
A passion for making mobile action games and exploring new ways of making games.Apply
