This multinational publisher has enjoyed success from some of the greatest releases in video games! The time has come to hire an experienced games Video Editor to join their Video Production Department based in their office on the outskirts of London. You will have the unique opportunity to work across all their award winning and critically acclaimed brands and titles. You will help promote them through a variety of creative mediums: trailers, commercials, developer diaries, interviews, in-game cinematics, sizzle reels, pre-roll ads, television commericals etc.
As an expert in your field your will possess excellent video editing and motion graphics skills. You must also be passionate about and experienced with video games.
Reporting to the Director of Video Production (based in Novato, California) and the Director of Creative Services & Localisation in the same UK office
Video Editing: trailers, commercials, developer diaries, interviews, cinematics, b-roll, sizzle reels, etc.
Localization: Localizing various video assets for numerous territories throughout the world.
Assist and oversee the localization of various assets incoming from the Video Production Department as well as other various media agencies.
Motion Graphics: Animated slates, lower thirds, rotoscoping, motion/camera tracking, typography, keying, etc.
Post-Production: colour grading, sound design and mixing, encoding, mastering, archiving, etc.
Must provide an online demo reel showcasing previous work.
Expert knowledge of Adobe Premiere in conjunction with other Creative Suite applications (Photoshop, Illustrator, Media Encoder, etc.)
Compositing skills: typography, animation, motion/camera tracking, rotoscoping, keying, etc. within After Effects /comparable software.
Knowledge of 3rd Party, After Effects plugin suites: Trapcode, Red Giant, DigiEffects, etc.
Fundamental experience with sound design and audio mixing.
Fluency in colour correction and colour grading.
Advanced knowledge of A/V compression formats and codecs, along with experience using encoding software such as Adobe Media Encoder and Compressor.
Highly creative, detail-oriented and deadline driven.
