Games Programmer / Mobile Games Developer – Exciting Mobile Studio

A Dundee based Games Developer are looking to hire a talented Programmer to join their growing team. If you are looking to join an up-and-coming studio who have already made their mark, offer a great family atmosphere, interesting projects to work on and most importantly a small agile team, then read on!  

The Programmer will be able to wear multiple hats and will be working on new and existing games, you will be relied to manage the bridge between the front-end and back-end systems and make sure their games run smoothly. There will be creative elements such as prototyping apps to test these back-end features. 

The ideal candidate will thrive in an open plan environment, with the end user in mind, you will be collaborating with Artists, Product Managers, all with the same goal of delivering games that will make their users come back for more. 

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a fast growing company with a high number of daily average users. You will be working with an innovative dynamic team developing casual games that have built a great reputation on the mobile market and are enjoyed by users worldwide.

Requirements 

• Strong C++ knowledge

• At least 1 years’ experience in the games industry 

• Experience of developing games on console or mobile platforms (experience in both welcomed)

• Interest or experience of working with back-end systems 

• Well versed with design patterns 

• Highly Approachable 

• Good Team Player 

Desired

• Experience in Mobile development (iOS, Android, Windows Phone)

• Experience with backend systems
