Description:

This major entertainment company is looking for a talented Insight Analyst to lead understanding and communication of how consumers use their well known consumer entertainment subscription services.

As Insight Analyst you will provide market analysis across existing services but also for new as yet unannounced services. The analysis you provide will inform what triggers joining, retention, and lapsing; and you will also be involved in making recommendations to support the development of the Services business.

 The role will involve:

  • Creating an attribution model of consumer interaction with the services.
  • Understanding what causes consumers to join, remain, or to leave.
  • Mapping current typical consumer lifecycle in the absence of any change in the service offering.
  • Understanding how consumers change behaviour in response to changes in the service offering and the effect on acquisition, renewal and churn
  • Supporting business planning and budget processes.
  • Managing and communicating data requests and “deep dives” from relevant stakeholders
  • Using propensity modelling to indicate future service performance and highlight future risks.
  • Helping to create performance benchmarks for services yet to release.

You will need to have:

  • Experience in online services ideally with a subscription element.
  • A passion for data and identifying trends particularly in relation to Subscription Services
  • Excellent communication skills,  ability to present insight and analysis to senior management.
  • Confidence to challenge current thinking by leveraging available data. 
  • Solid statistical and IT skills, fantastic Excel and Powerpoint and exposure to a BI tool like Microstrategy would be useful.
  • Keen problem solving skills with an explorer mentality – will keep searching for information to identify new trends and test hypotheses.
