They are looking for a lead game designer to guide them into the next era of browser games. With your experience in casual, social, or free-to-play games, you’ll be able to come up with solid design goals and structure for the game as well as pushing the genre forward with exciting and innovative new ideas.
Duties/Responsibilities
Act as the vision keeper
Lead and direct a team of international game designers
Work closely together with product owner, game designers and other internal stakeholders
Provide feedback, mentorship and assistance for all fields of a game development process
Supervise the design process for new features and mechanics
Support and supervise the game implementation
Skills/Experience
Extensive game design experience
3+ shipped or launched titles
Excellent written communication skills (English)
Strong social, communication and leadership skills
Great knowledge of casual, browser, and/or social game design
Ability to understand, maintain and constantly improve the game’s vision as it applies to every aspect of design
Knowledge of free-to-play monetization techniques
Prior Lead Designer experience on a team of 10+
Project planning/management experience
Programming/scripting experience
College degree preferred
