Are you a talented level designer who wants to embark on a new ambitious AAA project?
OPM is excited to be working with this top AAA studio who have created award winning games that have entertained millions of players around the world. They are a growing team that are working on an unannounced new AAA project as well as some other hit titles in the industry. Their studio is a healthy mix of industry veterans and new talent working together and are encouraged to experiment, innovate and explore with games.
My client is looking for a Level Designer to help them embark on their most ambitious project to-date. Working with the Lead Level Designer, the world art team and gameplay team, the Level Designer will:
Take part in a structured, iterative design process.
Be “hands-on” in building exciting environments and scripting & balancing levels sculpted for gameplay.
Use 3D tools for prototyping and developing gameplay-rich environments.
Collaborate with programmers and artists to improve the level creation process and tools.
Skills & Experience
In order to be considered for this role you need to be creative, collaborative and passionate and you must demonstrate:
Proven experience of working in a Design/Level Design role on a AAA console/PC title.
Ability to rapidly prototype in 3D tools and develop whitebox levels.
Working knowledge of visual and text-based scripting for game logic.
A structured and creative approach to design and an ability to communicate it.
Enthusiasm for working in a highly collaborative & friendly environment.
Experience in working in open-world games.
Experience in designing FPS levels/vehicle play.
