We are looking for a Licensing Manager who can provide leadership for the development and implementation of the UK, Nordics and Netherlands Hard Lines strategy across all Mattel Brands including Barbie, Monster High, Thomas etc. You will need to achieve key brand, category and fiscal objectives by identifying and working with Global, Multi Territory and Local licensees.
?Direct responsibility for the achievement of UK, Nordics and Netherlands category fiscal targets.
?Development and implementation of local, multi-territory, global hard lines strategy.
?Contributing to development of Global Hard lines strategy by conducting financial and market analysis of product categories and making recommendations.
?Implementation of local licensee hard lines strategy.
?Liaising with internal hard lines licensing team members and external new and existing partners.
?Managing local licensee product development with the creative/PD team.
?Working with the PD team and the licensees to execute key product development across sub categories in all brands.
?Leads the development and implementation of marketing, PR and other programmes to enable the business to meet/exceed objectives.
The successful candidate will have a proven background in licensing who has strong understanding and knowledge of licensing processes and procedures as well as laws and regulations. You will need to be able to demonstrate expertise in product development processes in regards tooling, materials, packaging and lead times and be looking for a new challenge!
