For a new unannounced project based on a traditional triple-A IP, we are looking for a motivated and passionate Game Developer that aspires to take browser games to the next level. In this ambitious project you will lead and build up a high-value game production as 3D Software Engineer in close collaboration with externals. With your experience of previous game developments you are able to provide a strong technical vision and motivate a team from start to end, pushing the possible!
Main Responsibilities
You are working on the engine/frontend of a browser-based high-quality new MMO game
You build up and code the game and shape its future
You develop architectures, pipelines and processes along the way
You will define and design software requirements and specifications derived from Game Design Documents and implement these accordingly with your team
You are able to tackle larger goals or tasks, plan and develop engineering solutions, specify and communicate the single tasks
You support the Game Designers in definition of requirements, feasibility and estimations of GDDs with knowledge, tools and prototypes
You prioritize, multi-task and perform in a deadline oriented environment
Required Experience, Skills and Abilities
You are an experienced software engineer with high architectural and guiding experience and provide relevant job experience
You have extensive practical knowledge of C# or C++ for 3-5 years
You successfully worked on at least one shipped 3D-Game in a senior or leading role
You have a University/Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Computer Game Development, Computer Engineering, Engineering Sciences or related/comparable qualification
You have strong interpersonal and communication skills
Experience with Engine Middleware such as Unity, Unreal, CryEngine is a plus
You provide profound and disciplined programming skills with state-of-the-art knowledge and experience in system design, architectures and best practices
Preferably you have experience in leading teams and guiding developers
You are passionate about gaming
You are fluent in technical and business English
