Senior Unity Developer – Social and Mobile studio – up to £55k

A London based Games studio are currently expanding their development team due to successful project demand and require a Senior Unity Programmer to work on a range of new games on mobile and Facebook platforms. The studio have a long standing history in creating some of the most downloaded games on the iOS and Android platforms, and have been played an enjoyed by players in the high millions.  

The role entails you to become a key member of the development team. If it relates to interaction, player feedback or progression, then you will either have ownership of, or be contributing to these areas across multiple projects for the studio. You will be programming key elements of the user interface and interaction systems, writing associated libraries for core mechanics, and be a custodian for balancing, tweaking and fine tuning. 

They are looking for this individual to have high energy and passion for social games and constantly come up with new and innovative ideas to keep the users engaged using multiple platforms. Your core function will be to implement features to go into the games, such as easy to use mechanics, tweaking difficulty and eventually developing into a Lead/Managerial level where you will be managing a team of your own. 

The role would be best suited to a generalist programmer who likes challenges and can plug into different areas of development. The opportunity plays a key role in a new project contributing to the success of the title from concept to the final product. 

Requirements 

• Worked on at least 2 mobile or console games

• Strong experience with Unity 

• Expert knowledge of C#

• Past experience or mentoring/leading a team or a desire to move into this position
