Working at the cutting edge of mobile technology you will be working in the Cambridge based R&D division of one of the worlds largest developers of smartphone technology helping developers create innovative applications that exploit the graphics processing capabilities of our smartphone processors.
You will be working within a small, multi-skilled graphics development team where creativity and innovation are ?welcomed, developing a graphics SDK and tool chain for application programmers, 3D artists and user interface designers.
You will also be regularly interacting with development teams and customers in the Far East.
Your role would be to lead the development of the tools and supporting material in our SDK.
You would be responsible for creating an easily accessible and highly productive development environment for artists and application developers.
Development of content creation pipelines from 3ds Max, Blender and Adobe After Effects
Development of PC and Android based development tools including scene and material ?editors
Authoring of clear documentation and example applications
Working closely with the engine developers to deliver new features and functionality
Collaboration with internal and customer artists, designers and application developers
2+ years professional experience developing tools
Confident using C++ and Java Python or similar scripting language PC application development
Good understand of 3D graphics processing
Plug-in development using the 3ds Max SDK and Maxscript
Familiarity with GLSL shaders (or equivalent)
Visual C, Eclipse, Git, Gerrit, Redmine, Jenkins
You should be able and willing to travel internationally (from time to time)
