GameStop announces 2015 US expo

Las Vegas will this year play host to GameStop’s annual consumer expo in the US.

Having last year taken place in California, GameStop Expo 2015 will take place at the Sands Expo and Convention Center on September 2nd. Confirmed attendees include Sony, Microsoft, Nintendo, Activision, EA, Warner and Take-Two.

In total there will be over 80 booths spread across the venue’s 250k square feet.

Visitors will get the chance to try virtual reality, play games ahead of release and can expect a number of celebrity guests, the names of which have not yet been revealed.

Standard tickets cost $40 while VIP passes cost $110. For the extra money buyers get a swag bag, access to an exclusive lounge and early access to the venue.

Senior VP of merchandising Bob Puzon said: Going into our fourth year of the GameStop Expo and our second time in the entertainment capital, it is only appropriate to makes this show bigger, better, and the ultimate gaming event for our fans.”
