Chart stalemate continues

With the Q4 release rush not yet upon us, THQ’s Cars leads an unchanged top three in the ChartTrack All Formats Top 40 for the fourth consecutive week.

Behind THQ’s movie tie-in, Rockstar’s Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories and Nintendo’s New Super Mario Bros remain in positions two and three respectively. Just behind them, EA’s The Sims 2 continues its chart resurrection, climbing two places to four.

Konami’s Pro Evolution Soccer 5 is also on the up, climbing two spots to fifth place, whilst Nintendo’s Dr Kawashima’s Brain Training drops one to claim sixth spot. EA’s Need for Speed: Most Wanted raises one place to seventh, whilst another EA title, the heavily promoted The Sims, drops four spots to eight.

Nintendo’s Animal Crossing: Wild World makes a reappearance in the Top 10, jumping seven places to nine and making it three DS-exclusive titles in the top ten. Tenth spot goes to EA’s FIFA 06, the fourth Top 10 game for the publisher this week.
