Sony has dropped a major clue that the official price point of US PS3 titles will be $59.99 (around £32).
The publisher has slapped the price on games available from its US-only mail order service, sonystyle.com.
Six third-party games are on offer: Activision’s Call Of Duty 3, Tony Hawk’s Project 8 and Marvel: Ultimate Alliance, Sega’s Sonic The Hedgehog and Full Auto 2: Battlelines, and Ubisoft’s Blazing Angels: Squadrons Of WWII.
One first-party release also graces the site – Sony Online Entertainment’s Untold Legends: Dark Kingdom, indicating Sony’s own games will share the price point of titles from other publishers.
The news comes five weeks ahead of the US PS3 launch on November 17th, and contradicts recent Internet rumours the titles would cost upwards of $100 (around £52).
Sony is still yet to make an official announcement on the pricing of PS3 titles.
