EA odds on for Christmas top spot

Paddypower.com has revealed its odds for the Christmas number one – and according to the online betting firm, EA’s near-traditional end of year dominance shows no signs of stopping with Need for Speed and FIFA among the favourites.

Need for Speed: Carbon has raced to the top to become favourite at 1-2 on, while fellow EA title FIFA ’07 and Microsoft’s much-hyped Gears of War are at 8-1.

The odds apply to the Chart Track listing of the week ending 23rd December, and will give EA even greater confidence that it can claim the Christmas number one once more.

Need for Speed: Carbon: 2-1 on
FIFA ’07: 8-1
Gears of War: 8-1
