Hannes Seifert, Juergen Goeldner and Dr Niki Laber established Neo Software in 1993, the studio that later was later bought by Take 2 and re-named Rockstar Vienna. It later ceased production in May 2006.

The trio has yet to give any details of what titles their new studio is to work on, but further details are expected to be announced at a press conference on January 25th.

As well as developing the Xbox versions of the hugely successful Grand Theft Auto series, it also handled Max Payne’s appearance on Microsoft’s format.
