It’s all change over at Official Nintendo Magazine, with moves for Lee Nutter, Chandra Nair and a new signing in the form of former nRevolution editor Martin Mathers.
Veteran games journo Lee Nutter has moved up to the newly-created role of assistant publisher on Future’s Official Nintendo Magazine, while Chandra Nair moves into the editor’s chair.
Mathers joins the mag as deputy editor, having previously been editor at Imagine’s flagship title GamesTM, as well as X360 and nRevolution.
“These changes are fantastic news for readers of Official Nintendo Magazine,” said Future group publisher Mia Walter. “I’m delighted to welcome Lee to the publishing team. His new position will see him continue his close working relationship with Nintendo, as we work hard to ensure that Future’s newest official publishing partnership continues to go from strength to strength.”
“Chandra played an essential supportive role to Lee throughout the launch and first year of the title and was the clear choice to continue Official Nintendo Magazine’s development as Editor. I’m also excited that Martin has chosen to further his career at Future, and will be the perfect addition to our team. His editorial experience will help to develop our offering, and enables us to build the strongest possible team for the Official title.”
There's also a change in Future's Xbox magazine portfolio, with Emma Parkinson appointed to the role of assistant publisher for Xbox 360: The Official Magazine and independent title Xbox World 360.

"I’m delighted to welcome Emma to our senior publishing team," said group publisher of Future's Microsoft portfolio Jame Binns. "She has done a superb job developing and establishing our Microsoft titles internationally. With her considerable skills and experience, she brings exciting new ideas to drive our UK titles forward in a competitive market.”
