In a conference call held late last week, managers were informed of the new, stricter sales policy, reports Nick Chester of hardcore gaming site Destructoid.

According to the site, staff selling inappropriate games to minors will have their employment contract terminated. But in addition, if temporary or part-time store workers are caught, their store managers will be fired - even if they're not present in the store at the time.

Destructoid explains that, like Circuit City, Best Buy and Blockbuster, Gamestop is a member of of the ESRB Retail Council.
