New UK boss for Eidos

Brit super-publisher Eidos has pulled off a major coup, with the poaching of a senior executive from rival Activision as its new UK head.

Bob Burridge has quit his role as UK sales director at Activision after nearly five years, rejoining his old boss Scott Dodkins - who headed up the US publisher during its most sucessful period in Europe, but who is now international boss of Eidos.

Eidos has just lost its own longtime head of sales, John Clark, to Sega. This has duly been followed by a re-jig of the UK operation.

Burridge joins in the newly created role of UK general manager. At the same time, Cheryl O'Connell has been promoted from senior national account manager to UK sales manager and Jon Brooke has been promoted to UK marketing manager.
