Future Publishing will reveal its latest circulation figures on Thursday, alongside rivals in the games sector Imagine, Uncooked, Evolve and a host of online destinations.

But despite the stiff competition, there's no doubting it will still be market leader on newsstands, with the firm's publisher for the games portfolio Matt Pierce confident of a decent performance:

“The forthcoming ABC results for our games portfolio are in line with our expectations. The decline across PlayStation titles can be attributed to consumers waiting for solid details on the PlayStation 3 following the initial launch delay.

“However, there is plenty of good news elsewhere. Magazines focusing on Xbox 360 and Wii both display encouraging growth, and our multi-format titles continue to perform well. Future's games content also now reaches more people than ever before, thanks to fast-rising visitor numbers for our games websites cvg.co.uk and gamesradar.com,” he added.
