After two weeks successfully fending off the opposition at the top of the charts, Square Enix’s Final Fantasy XII has been relegated to number two as Ubisoft’s Xbox 360 FPS Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter enters the ChartTrack All Formats Top 40 at number one.

GRAW2 betters the chart performance of its predecessor, which never claimed the top spot, despite shifting 10,000 fewer units in its first week.

The PS2 release of Rockstar’s Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories propels the powerhouse franchise to third spot in the listings, just ahead of Sega’s Wii platformer Sonic and the Secret Rings, which climbs one spot to claim fourth.

Microsoft’s Crackdown seems destined never to claim the top spot now, slipping three places to number five. EA’s The Sims 2: Seasons drops to sixth spot, just above fellow EA title FIFA 07 in seventh.

Konami’s Pro Evolution Soccer 6 slips from sixth to eighth, whilst a drop of one place sees Nintendo’s Dr Kawashima’s Brain Training claim number nine. EA’s The Sims 2 rounds off the top ten in tenth.
